Marcus Holdsworth Photography it’s nearly that time of year again, Creative October in Nottingham, a local event designed to bring creatives and designers in Nottingham together. Last year I did a photoshoot with a group of designers, Susie Henson of Eternal Spirits(who designed outfits for Leona Lewis, Girls Aloud and The Saturdays), Daniel Hanson(makes dressing gowns for Elton John), Debbie Bryant and W.Hurts scarves. creating an eclectic mix of contrasting styles brought together skilfully by Susie.
I arrived at The Davenport Shop of Originality not quite knowing what to expect, there was a buzz in the air as James White and Ali Gunn worked their magic on models Leonie Manners (who has just one the Next model of the year competion) and Georgia Horsely(former Miss England). After much pampering and pruning, we set off into the centre of Nottingham to create some high fashion images.
This Year we will be doing a similar event using different iconic areas of Nottingham…watch this space.
